New to At Dawn? Here's everything you need to get up and running.
Download & Install
- Download At Dawn from the App Store or Google Play
- Open the app and explore as a guest, or create a free account
- Set your preferred Bible translation and appearance
- Start your first Morning with God ritual
Create Your Account
- Tap "Sign Up" on the home screen
- Choose a username and password
- Your progress will sync across all your devices automatically
- You can also sign in with your Replit account for one-click access
Start Reading the Bible
- Navigate to the Bible tab
- Choose from 9 translations (KJV, ASV, WEB, BSB, LSV, GNV, YLT, BBE & DBY)
- Tap any verse to share, compare, highlight, save, or explore
- Use the audio feature to listen while you read
Join a Sacred Circle
- Go to the Community section
- Create a new group or enter a join code from your group leader
- Share prayers, celebrations, and study together
- Group leaders get special tools for engagement and care
Troubleshooting
Having an issue? Try these common solutions first.
The app won't load or is showing a blank screen
- Close and reopen the app completely
- Check your internet connection since At Dawn needs connectivity for some features
- Make sure the app is updated to the latest version
- If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (your data will sync back when you sign in)
My progress isn't syncing between devices
- Make sure you're signed into the same account on both devices
- Check that both devices have an active internet connection
- Try pulling down to refresh on the home screen
- Sync happens automatically every 2 minutes, on app open, and on resume and if data is still missing after a few minutes, contact support
Audio isn't playing
- Make sure your device isn't on silent/mute mode
- Check that the volume is turned up
- If using Bluetooth, make sure your headphones/speaker is connected
- Try closing and reopening the app
- Premium voice features require an active subscription
I can't access premium features
- Verify your subscription is active in the App Store or Google Play
- Make sure you're signed into the same account you subscribed with
- Try closing and reopening the app to refresh your subscription status
- If the issue persists, email us at support@atdawnministries.org with your account username
How do I cancel my subscription?
- iOS: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > At Dawn > Cancel Subscription
- Android: Open Google Play > Menu > Subscriptions > At Dawn > Cancel
- Your premium access continues until the end of your current billing period
- You won't lose your data because everything is saved and will be there if you decide to re-subscribe
How do I delete my account?
- Open the app and go to Settings > Account
- Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion (requires double confirmation for safety)
- All your data, including journal entries, prayers, progress, and profile, will be permanently removed
- If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play
