Getting Started
New to At Dawn? Here's everything you need to get up and running.

Download & Install

  1. Download At Dawn from the App Store or Google Play
  2. Open the app and explore as a guest, or create a free account
  3. Set your preferred Bible translation and appearance
  4. Start your first Morning with God ritual

Create Your Account

  1. Tap "Sign Up" on the home screen
  2. Choose a username and password
  3. Your progress will sync across all your devices automatically
  4. You can also sign in with your Replit account for one-click access

Start Reading the Bible

  1. Navigate to the Bible tab
  2. Choose from 9 translations (KJV, ASV, WEB, BSB, LSV, GNV, YLT, BBE & DBY)
  3. Tap any verse to share, compare, highlight, save, or explore
  4. Use the audio feature to listen while you read

Join a Sacred Circle

  1. Go to the Community section
  2. Create a new group or enter a join code from your group leader
  3. Share prayers, celebrations, and study together
  4. Group leaders get special tools for engagement and care
Troubleshooting
Having an issue? Try these common solutions first.

The app won't load or is showing a blank screen

  1. Close and reopen the app completely
  2. Check your internet connection since At Dawn needs connectivity for some features
  3. Make sure the app is updated to the latest version
  4. If the issue persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app (your data will sync back when you sign in)

My progress isn't syncing between devices

  1. Make sure you're signed into the same account on both devices
  2. Check that both devices have an active internet connection
  3. Try pulling down to refresh on the home screen
  4. Sync happens automatically every 2 minutes, on app open, and on resume and if data is still missing after a few minutes, contact support

Audio isn't playing

  1. Make sure your device isn't on silent/mute mode
  2. Check that the volume is turned up
  3. If using Bluetooth, make sure your headphones/speaker is connected
  4. Try closing and reopening the app
  5. Premium voice features require an active subscription

I can't access premium features

  1. Verify your subscription is active in the App Store or Google Play
  2. Make sure you're signed into the same account you subscribed with
  3. Try closing and reopening the app to refresh your subscription status
  4. If the issue persists, email us at support@atdawnministries.org with your account username

How do I cancel my subscription?

  1. iOS: Open Settings > tap your name > Subscriptions > At Dawn > Cancel Subscription
  2. Android: Open Google Play > Menu > Subscriptions > At Dawn > Cancel
  3. Your premium access continues until the end of your current billing period
  4. You won't lose your data because everything is saved and will be there if you decide to re-subscribe

How do I delete my account?

  1. Open the app and go to Settings > Account
  2. Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
  3. Confirm the deletion (requires double confirmation for safety)
  4. All your data, including journal entries, prayers, progress, and profile, will be permanently removed
  5. If you have an active subscription, remember to cancel it separately through the App Store or Google Play
